Who Has Best Cell Phone Plans – Choosing a family plan can be challenging and confusing. Which carrier offers the best price? What is the difference between the programs? Are taxes included? What benefits are included?
I will include the best family plans on four lines on the Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobiles networks. We’ll include family plans from major carriers, as well as plans from smaller carriers, so you can find the cheapest and best plan to meet your family’s needs.

Visible Party’s discount pricing allows you to save up to $15 per month on the service, reducing the cost from $40 for 1 line to $25 for 4 lines.
Top 4 Tips To Choose The Best Cell Phone Plan
My goal is to help you stay connected and have the perfect family plan. They often offer group discounts that can significantly reduce the individual cost of the program.
Do the same with your mother-in-law. Make a group of friends. Or start with family. Seriously, these discounts are awesome.
Some members are real estate developers, and some are engineers. If you’re not sure how much mobile data you need, or how much everyone in your family needs, check out our article on how to check your mobile data usage on iPhone and Android.
If you happen to be on a current family plan, you can also see your online accounts regularly to see how much mobile data each line is using.

If everyone’s needs are very different, for example, if your grandma uses 100GB+ per month, and your son Jeremy only uses 1.2GB per month, it may actually be better for each to use a data plan that meets their specific needs.
Regardless of what concerns you, there are good family plans with unlimited data included, as well as cheap single-line plans, so you can compare the costs per person and try to find what is best for your family.

The best four-line family plans on the Verizon network are from Verizon, Visible, Total Wireless, and US Mobile:
Best Cell Phone Plans For Seniors
The main differences between the Verizon family plans are the basic data, data hotspot and included benefits
Verizon itself offers 4 different plans to choose from: Start Unlimited, Make Unlimited, Play Unlimited, and Get Unlimited More.
The only difference between these plans is the amount of data you have (ie the amount of data you can use before your data speed drops when the network is busy), the amount of data points you have, and the benefits included.
Personally, I would go for the family and unlimited plan at $45 per person. It includes 25GB of essential data, 15GB of hotspot data, 720p video streaming, and an Apple Music subscription. It’s still expensive, at $180 a month, but the included Apple Music subscription is an added bonus, and I think this plan is a better deal than the Do More Unlimited plan.
Best Cell Phone Plans For Single Lines
That said, Do More’s unlimited family plan costs the same $45 per line or $180 total, making it a solid option for those looking for valuable data. It doesn’t come with an Apple Music subscription, but it does offer twice as much data with 50GB, 500GB of Verizon cloud storage, and 50% more data or an unlimited Jetpack plan. However, the lack of an Apple Music subscription and limited 480p video streaming makes the Play More Unlimited plan a better option for me.
There are Verizon postpaid plans. Per person: $50. Since the data isn’t always worth it and it doesn’t support hotspots, I think Verizon’s unlimited plans are complete garbage. (Sometimes I wonder if the people at Verizon delete numbers from their system).
Verizon’s announced 16GB family plan is a good deal. With all the group savings, it’s just $34 per person, which isn’t bad considering it supports hot spots and unlimited calls to Mexico and Canada. You can also opt for the 6GB plan for $28 per person.
But the best deal on the Verizon network comes from Visible. You can join a virtual group of 4 members and add your plan to $25 per person with unlimited mobile data and unlimited hotspot data.
The Best Cell Phone Plan Of 2022
Data speeds aren’t a priority, with the data hotspot capped at 5Mbps, but to be honest, it’s the best deal in the business right now. Bills are also split between lines, so if you’re a family of two, you can safely do it with two strangers to get the biggest savings online.
If you want more about Visual, be sure to check out our Visual review. They support a limited number of smartphones and the servers are hit or miss for some users, but it’s still an amazing value and I recommend checking it out.
Total Wireless also has a great family policy. $24 per person also gets you 100GB of shared data, or 25GB per person, including hotspot data support.
Total Wireless supports a lot more devices than it seems, and for some users, this company can be a good discount option.
Best Cheap Phone Plans: Affordable Alternatives To Verizon, At&t And T Mobile
Of course, we have to talk about US Mobile, because their family plan includes amazing benefits like Apple TV+, Spotify Family, Netflix, Disney Plus, and even PlayStation Plus four lines.
The way it works is to get a profit on every order and American Mobile will give you that profit. So what I do is I take those compensations to calculate the reduced person that you get with the big plan.
US Mobile offers 3 different unlimited plans, and there are actually 50GB plans. With the discount plan, you’ll be looking at $34 per person for 50GB of high-speed data, $39 per person if you add a 10GB hotspot, and $44 per person if you’re looking to upgrade to full-speed LTE data.
Also, this model takes into account the discounted price, assuming you pay the subscription fee separately. The total cost of US Mobile’s unlimited family plans is $40, $45, and $50 per person, or $160, $180, and $200 per month, including subscription fees that will be charged to the plan.
Cell Phones, Smartphones & Cell Phone Accessories
I’m currently trying US Mobile’s high speed plan with a 5Mbps cap and I have to say it feels slow. I’m thinking of a plan with hotspot data at full speed.
Honestly, we wish the discounts were better, but US Mobile’s custom plans are still great, as they are single-line plans with affordable talk, text, and data plans. My favorites are the $20 1.5GB data plan, the $30 5GB data plan, and the $36 8GB data plan.
The best four-line home plans on the AT&T network are from AT&T, Cricket Wireless, and Pure TalkUSA:
AT&T offers 3 family plans. The main difference is the inclusion of important data, hotspot data and privileges.
Best Cell Phone Plans For Seniors In 2022
AT&T offers 3 postpaid plans: Unlimited Starter, Unlimited Extra, Unlimited Premium. Similar to Verizon, the main difference between these plans is the amount of essential data, hotspot data, and benefits included.
The cheapest family plan is the AT&T First Unlimited plan for $35 per person. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the decision at all. Your speed is not always important, and we do not support mobile hotspots. I think the real value is in unlimited or unlimited add-on plans.
For 4 people, the AT&T Unlimited Extra Family Plan and the AT&T Premium Family Plan are also reasonably priced. Extra Unlimited is $40 per month and includes 50GB of premium data, 15GB of hotspot data, and standard definition video streaming.
The Infinity elite family plan is basically double the extra $10 more per person. Get 100GB of Essential Data, 30GB of Hotspot Data, HD Video Streaming, and an HBO Subscription for $50 per person.
Best Cell Phone Plans For International Travel
Compared to Wing’s $55 one-line unlimited plan, you can really see how adding a few extra lines to your plan can add tremendous value per user. And, unfortunately for Wing, their family plan only drops the price to $50 per month, so AT&T’s postpaid plans are really good value for money here.
AT&T’s postpaid plans offer excellent service, but they are expensive. You might think it offers better value, but with prepaid plans like Verizon, you’d be surprised.
AT&T’s Plan Plus unlimited data is $45 per person, much less than AT&T’s Unlimited Extra. The standard unlimited plan is priced at $35 per person, which sounds reasonable, but data speeds aren’t always the best, and the plan doesn’t support mobile hotspots.
