Perry says the song came to him during a sleepless night in Detroit during the band’s five-night run in support of their groundbreaking 1980 tour.
Perry’s midnight call inspired Detroit’s unwavering devotion to the song. While living in Ecors, it is worth visiting the Detroit Riverside Park and the nearby Dingale Park. Living in this town of 9,300 people, you can spend the day exploring this charming town.
