It’s great to hear that the script is ready, but I see two big problems with it right now. First, it’s very difficult to repeat the same line-up because of some A-list names who have very busy schedules that are difficult to coordinate. Second, Ritchie is viable
Plus, there might be another Sherlock sequel that Warner Bros. wants. to issue on time.
Where RocknRolla 2 fits in is anyone’s guess, but if it ever does, you can bet we’ll be lining up for it.

Ritchie, who films and cuts everything in Rocknrolla like an ad for a particularly oily men’s fragrance brand, brings the fights and murders with his morally weightless flamboyant setting.
RocknRolla is a throwback from the punchlines of his last two films, but Ritchie is sure to return to familiar thematic territory.
A handsome mobster and a wealthy accountant fuel this hilarious romp about a clash of criminal styles in an age of globalization and real estate speculation.

Rocknrolla reminds us how cool Richie was before Madonna put out his fire. Sin makes us wait so long.
RocknRolla doesn’t allow for the visual pyrotechnics of Ritchie’s Lock, Stock, and Smoking Barrel (1998), but that’s okay because if anything else happens, the film might induce motion sickness.
Best to sit back and enjoy Rock’n’Rolla: a fast-paced morality play more interested in the absurdity of violent crime than real-life issues.

RocknRolla is a style. And it ranges from cockney film story dialogue to music and video editing to sensational storytelling.
For all its hipster characters, quick cuts and camera tricks, this tale of bullying is oddly dry and brittle, with no characters to care about.
When RocknRolla remains a headless company, it’s not because they’re numb to social frustrations, but because Richie wants to borrow their cheeky charm, a virtue none of them really possess.
The actual plot is so uselessly convoluted it gives you a headache to read – but given Ritchie’s reliance on great editing, an explosive soundtrack and fetishized gunplay, you might as well break out the Advil.
